According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, five-time all-star guard Chauncey Billups is interested in becoming an NBA coach.
43-year-old Billups retired from the NBA in 2014. In 2017, he was in talks to become the GM of the Cavaliers, but eventually retired from research. Prior to interviewing the Cavs, he had also interviewed for the Atlanta GM opening in May 2017.
According to Yahoo Sports, the league teams have begun the process of seeking Billups’ candidacy as a manager.
