Mike Wallace suspended indefinitely from NASCAR

Xfinity series driver Mike Wallace has been banned indefinitely from NASCAR after violating the series’ conduct guidelines on a social media post.

According to the criminal record, Wallace violated Sections 12.1, 12.8 and 12.8.1.e (Membership Code of Conduct), which in some cases stated:

“Actions by members that could result in a fine and / or indefinite suspension or termination:

“Public statements and / or communications that criticize, mock or otherwise mock another person based on their race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age or disability reduce. “

Wallace must conduct awareness training as directed by NASCAR before reinstatement is considered. The content of the item in question was not explained in detail in the criminal report.

The 61-year-old has driven the No. 0 Chevrolet in three Xfinity races this season. He has four wins out of 497 career Xfinity starts as well as five wins out of 115 starts in trucks and 197 starts at the cup level.
