City Football Group completes the acquisition of another team …
City Football Group, the owners of Manchester City, have completed the acquisition of Ligue 2 ESTAC Troyes.
In addition to City, CFG’s portfolio also includes New York City in the United States, Melbourne City FC in Australia, Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay, Girona in Spain, Sichuan Jiuniu FC in China, Mumbai City FC in India and Lommel SK in Belgium.
Ferran Soriano, managing director of the City Football Group, said: “We have been interested in French football for a long time and have long admired ESTAC, so we are delighted to have completed the acquisition of our 10th club and to have a permanent presence in France.
