“Juve’s counterattack to reopen the stadium”. This is how the sports pages of La Repubblica open. The Juventus club presented a plan to have the public already against Sampdoria at the debut La sponda del governor Cirio: “Let’s go back to normal”. But for the CTS the priority is the school.

(…) Juventus – reads the article by Domenico Marchese – has entrusted the Piedmont Region and President Cirio (“You can return to normality, with great respect for the rules for the prevention of infections”) the safety plan for reopen the Allianz Stadium from the first day against Sampdoria, on 19 or 20 September. Plan sent to the CTS, on which approval depends: the committee, however, is cautious about a national decision that opens all stadiums. There would remain the possibility of exceptions on a regional basis, which would give way to a two-speed championship, at least in the stands, with matches with the public and others in the cold of empty stands. But in any case it is unlikely that this opening will arrive on the first day. For the CTS, in fact, the priority is the school, which restarts on 14 September: on football, the technicians could take time and also evaluate the progress of the infections. (…) The FIGC welcomed Juventus’ step forward, an example that Torino will follow next week. Even if Gravina preaches unity of purpose: do not force the time to aim for a large influx of fans, around 40% of the capacity. (…)
