Radley, Doug Mrstik (Sarasota, Florida) and Bruce Moskovciak (Jacksonville, Florida) all had 71 goals and were equalized after 18 holes. The trio started the playoffs on the par-4 18 hole of the Dye Course and Radley’s par was good enough for him to emerge from a field of 2,150 golfers and claim the World Champion mantle.

Neither Radley, who entered the round with seven handicaps, nor Moskovciak, who received a stroke on the day, got a shot on the 18th hole while Mrstik, a 20 handicap, got a shot.

Ryan Reynolds (Camden, SC) shot a par 71 of 1 under to complete his gross division win.

Michael Batten (Jacksonville, Florida) fired a 79, which allowed him to overcome a one-shot deficit and beat Jim Marcelak (Fort Myers, Florida) to win the Senior Gross Division.

Brian Katrek (Mableton, Ga.) And Todd Stires (Murrieta, California) teamed up to win the Casa de Campo Pairs Competition, scoring a net team score of 4 over. By virtue of the victory, the couple received a 4-day and 3-night stay in the luxurious Casa de Campo and an unlimited golf course.

“The 37th edition of the World Am was certainly different, but the only thing that didn’t change was the competition at the heart of the event, and we are delighted to congratulate Harry Radley on taking the title of World Champion”, tournament director Scott Tomasello said. “We enjoyed a week of great golf and while we are grateful to have been able to play at World Am, we look forward to next year’s tournament and a return to more normal circumstances.”

World Am 2021 will be played from 30 August to 3 September.

Golfers from all 50 states competed in this year’s World Am, a 72-hole neat shot event, but 2020 has been changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

¨ The biggest change was the absence of the 19th largest hole in the world, which usually serves as the social hub of the event, providing players with free food, drinks, live entertainment and more every night.

¨ All participants had their own cart for each round of the tournament.

¨ There were no more than 72 golfers on each course (approximately 36 players per flight).

¨ A threesome tee time window has been established.

¨ Free distance balls have been provided and placed on their respective fields to eliminate contact points.

¨ No spectators were allowed.
