Deal agreed: Nottingham Forest ace Matty Cash set for £ 14m move to Aston Villa

Right-back Matty Cash will leave Nottingham Forest in a £ 14million move for the Premier League Aston Villa.

The Reds have always faced a fight to hold onto their star this summer, and a number of teams have been tracking his signature.

And it is Villa who won the cash race after initially turning down a few offers, the first of which started at £ 10million.

Sheffield United had also turned down an offer, while Fulham, West Ham United and AC Milan were also interested in the youngster.

Forest could ultimately benefit from Villa’s £ 16m cash deal due to possible add-ons.
