Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez wins stage 17, Roglic retains yellow jersey

Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez took the lead at the Col de la Loze at the end of the 17th stage. Slovenian Primoz Roglic took second place and keeps his yellow jersey.

The Tour de France reached its highest point on Wednesday September 16: at 2,304 meters above sea level, at the conclusion of the 17th stage of 170 kilometers, starting from Grenoble for the Col de la Loze. Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez won, during this unprecedented arrival, ahead of Slovenian Primoz Roglic, who consolidated his yellow leader’s jersey.

The leader in the general classification left Pogacar 15 seconds behind, in a final with a knife, on a dizzying slope.
