College Football Results, NCAA Top 25 Leaderboard, Schedule, Games Today: Texas, Oklahoma Open Season

Before the arrival of COVID-19, this particular Saturday turned out to be one of the best of the year in college football. We just remembered the marquee non-conference games originally scheduled for September 12th and had Ohio State-Oregon, Texas-LSU, North Carolina-Auburn, Tennessee-Oklahoma, Penn State-Virginia Tech, and Iowa-Iowa State on the plan. However, the special circumstances of this season have removed each of these competitions from the schedule.

Compared to what could have been, Saturday might seem like a downer for some college soccer fans awaiting the bigger matchups. But considering how things have looked at times over the past few months – with teams and leagues leaving the season – the schedule for Saturday isn’t all that bad. Ranked teams will be in action during all three waves of play, with Clemson No. 1, Oklahoma No. 5, Notre Dame No. 10, Texas No. 14, North Carolina No. 18, UCF No. 21, and Iowa No. 23 giving They claim that everyone is making their debut.

A total of 10 ACC teams and seven Big 12 teams are set to open their season on Saturday as Mike Norvell trains his first game in Florida, Notre Dame makes its ACC debut and Clemson launches its national title recovery offer. There’s a lot to talk about with these games and everything in between. CBS Sports will be with you every step of the way to keep you updated with the latest results, highlights and storylines throughout the day. All times east
