Barcelona have announced that they will play Girona in a pre-season friendly on 16 September at the Estadi Johan Cruyff at 19:00 CET.
The match is the second pre-season friendly which has now been confirmed. Barça will kick off the 2020-21 season with a match against Nastic on 12 September.

Barca have not met Girona in some time, as the Catalan club were relegated from La Liga in 2019. Girona came close to a quick return to La Liga but were beaten 1-0 by Elche in the promotion play-offs.
Ronald Koeman’s team will have to miss the first two days of La Liga, with the first league match set for 27 September against Villarreal at the Camp Nou.
