Badminton tournament ‘City of Adra 2020’ has come to an end this weekend with an intense awards ceremony marked by the equality of the competition and the high level shown by the participants.
The Councilor for Sports, Pedro Peña, attended the event who has closed the meeting, which has been organized by the Alboran Badminton Club.
The competition has passed with all prevention measures and the participation of around 40 athletes both from the local club and others from the province of Granada. In addition to the cleaning and disinfection work, the tournament has been developed in nine simultaneous fields and, as it is an individual sport, contact between the participants has been non-existent. It should also be noted that both at the entrance and at the exit of the sports hall has enabled a point with hydroalcoholic gel and the use of the mask has been mandatory when traveling.
