Red Devil Yari Verschaeren has passed a positive corona test yesterday, RSC Anderlecht reports. “Yari feels good and is at home in quarantine. The stricter measures will continue to apply to the staff, players and employees at Neerpede. We will test again on Tuesday,” said the short announcement.
Anderlecht has been plagued by corona infections in recent days. Two weeks ago Michel Vlap tested positive. Last Monday, 5 positive cases followed with 2 employees of the sports staff and 3 players. They went into quarantine for a week.
Verschaeren scored the 3rd goal yesterday in Anderlecht’s 2-4 victory over Waasland-Beveren. He played the whole game.
