The Spanish pilot Ana Carrasco, Supersport 300 world champion in 2018, has shown the tremendous scar left on her back by the surgical operation to which she has had to undergo after fracturing two vertebrae when falling from the motorcycle during a training session in Portugal.
Carrasco suffered the accident on September 10, and was transferred to Barcelona in a medicalized plane. Once there, she underwent surgery and began a recovery that has kept her hospitalized until this Monday.
With the discharge from hospital, the Murcian wanted to share with her followers the trace of her fall, a tremendous “zipper” that runs down her back.
“They say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger … Well, here we are, wanting to come back stronger than ever!” Wrote the 23-year-old pilot when she showed the photograph.
Ana Carrasco made history in 2018 by proclaiming herself the first woman to achieve a world championship in the World Superbike.
