Wout Van Aert (Jumbo) dominated the sprint of the 7th stage of the Tour de France on Friday, which proved tricky for several contenders for the podium, on the road leading to Lavaur (Tarn). Briton Adam Yates (Mitchelton) keeps the yellow jersey on the eve of entering the Pyrenees.
The Belgian rider Wout Van Aert was able to show himself the strongest in the trap stage bringing the riders of the Tour de France from Millau to the Tarn town of Lavaur on Friday September 4th. Slovenian Tadej Pogacar and Spaniard Mikel Landa, among the first in the general classification before the start of this 7e stage, are the main losers of the day, with a disbursement of around 1 min 20 sec.
