49ers Cut Dion Jordan, Kevin Blanc

On Saturday, the 49ers put on the sidewalk a pair of former first-round notables. Defensive end Dion Jordan and Kevin white were removed from the roster as part of the club’s 20+ cups on Saturday.

Jordan’s career in the NFL has taken some strange turns, to say the least. After being selected No.3 overall by the Dolphins, Jordan didn’t do much to justify his pre-draft hype. After disappointing seasons, missed seasons, and a number of suspensions, Jordan found his way to the Seahawks in 2017. In 2018, he showed some promise as a spinning piece, and he turned that into a contract. a year with the Raiders. He hung on to the Niners in early August, but he couldn’t stay long.

White, a former No.7 overall for the Bears, came out of West Virginia with tons of hype. In the past five years, injuries have limited him to just 14 games. The Niners were decimated by wide receiver injuries, but they still haven’t seen enough White ~ 1 week audition to keep him going. For his career, White has 25 catches for 285 yards and zero touchdowns.
