In the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the third of the season, Johan Zarco (Avintia Racing) signed his 7the podium of his Moto GP career. The Frenchman, who took pole on Saturday, finished more than two seconds behind Franco Morbidelli (KTM), and almost six behind Brad Binder, who won the first Grand Prix of his 24-year Moto GP career.
Fabio Quartararo, impressive in the first two rounds in Spain, which he had won each time, finished with a disappointing 7e square. Quartararo, on the other hand, keeps his first place overall.
