Yamaha Underwent the MSMA Session at the Austrian MotoGP 2020, Honda asks for clarification of the damaged components

MOTOR Plus-online.com – Yamaha is undergoing a session with the MSMA commission at the 2020 Austrian MotoGP, the Honda manufacturer asks for clarification on the damaged component.

MSMA (Motor Sport Manufacturer Association) is an organization within MotoGP that consists of motorcycle manufacturers participating in the MotoGP championship, such as Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, KTM and Aprilia.

The functions of this organization include deciding on technical regulations regarding motorbike regulations together with other organizations that are members of the Grand Prix commission.

As is well known, Yamaha has withdrawn three engines from its riders’ quota, one for Valentino Rossi, one for Maverick Vinales, and one for Franco Morbidelli.

Only Fabio Quartararo was not damaged in this area.

So far Franco Morbidelli and Maverick Vinales have started using their five machines available for this season.

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi and Fabio Quartararo used four of them.

It’s rumored that the valve / valve supplied by the subcontractor is the cause of the problem, but we’ve also heard of other hypotheses that are hard to fix.

However, the Yamaha paddock immediately lowered the maximum engine speed by 300 rpm for safety reasons.

To be completely legal, wait for a response from MSMA, including yesterday’s heated encounter at around 5pm on the Red Bull Ring.
