Today technical director Frank Arnesen announced that Edgar Ié will not return to Feyenoord. Feyenoord wanted to hire the defender, but the Turkish Trabzonspor only wants to sell the defender. Van Eersel would like to see an ex-Feyenoord player return to solve the defensive problems.
“They have been busy with Ié for a long time. The door must have closed yesterday, because he was certainly still in the picture recently,” says Van Eersel on the radio of RTV Rijnmond.
