What we learned on Day 2 of Seattle Seahawks training camp

The Seahawks followed up with another day of light field work Thursday, the second of four OTA-style sessions before the padded practices began on Monday. The day started with a Russell Wilson conference call, where we’ll begin before summarizing everything we learned on Thursday.

Damien lewis, the presumed favorite to win the right guard post, earned Wilson’s praise.

Wilson also spoke well DeeJay Dallas, another recruit. Dallas drew praise from Pete Carroll after the first day of fieldwork Wednesday.

Wilson was asked about the raging debate and fans’ push to see him go by more often.

DK Metcalf and Wilson’s connection is expected to grow in the second year for the wide receiver, especially after an offseason spent together.

Wilson detailed the expected starters along the offensive line, which included three new faces.

However, despite Finney’s inclusion in Wilson’s roster, it was Ethan Pocic work with the first team on Thursday.

The first-team defense remained unchanged for the second day on the training ground, although a change could come on Friday with Quinton Dunbarthe availability.

Shaquem griffin seems to be stuck on the defensive line, where he finished last season, as well as linebacker.
