RWDM has started well on its new adventure in 1B. At home against Club NXT, ex-Cercle player Ivan Yagan was decisive with a goal and an assist.
In the Edmond Machtens Stadium the promises of Club Brugge stood for their baptism of fire in 1B.
RWDM got a strafschop. Ivan Yagan (ex-Cercle) put himself behind the ball, but did not get past goalkeeper Shinton.
Even after the coffee break, Club NXT’s goalkeeper was on his toes with a free kick from Rommens.
20 minutes before the end it was still hit for RWDM: Yagan tapped the ball in after a nicely drawn-out attack.
Substitute Joeri Dequevy put the 2-0 on the board in the final minutes. The assist came from the man of the match Yagan.
