That has strengthened his brand and helped secure meetings with legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

However, Whyte, 32, insists his team has evidence that he changed his first name to sound like the worst man on the planet.

He told SunSport, “My name is actually Dillian. I know his real name is Luke.

“He changed it in Tyson to make it sound harder. People can look around the internet a little and see for themselves.

“When it comes to boxing, the Tyson name is a lot more salable than Luke.

“A lot of what Tyson does and says is a game. You can never take anything he says seriously or at face value.

“He could say that he wants to fight me sometimes, but how can you trust a man who doesn’t even use his own name?”

Why in Fury’s name

Whyte is locked in a Winnebago in Brentwood in preparation for his fight with Russian dangerman Alexander Povetkin on Saturday.

A twelfth win in a row earns him the WBC diamond belt and secures the main belt shot that Fury is currently holding.

Anger has switched between promising Whyte his hard-earned shot and promising to lose the title when the sanction body forces him to face the Body Snatcher.

So Whyte announced that he is the hardest traveling, greatest hammering, and real street fighter.

He said, “I drove my three dogs to my training base in Portugal for 40 hours to do a 22 week camp for this fight.

“Now I live in a trailer for a week before fighting a dangerous Russian in an Essex field on the side of the highway.

“I’ll fight everyone everywhere and that’s why I’m the real Gypsy King and I even have my flat cap to prove it.

“Tyson Fury likes to tell people it’s him, but let’s see.

“Fury had a privileged upbringing, attended classy school in an expensive neighborhood, and lives in a beautiful house. What kind of gypsy is he? “

Dillian Whyte slams Frank Warren’s Dubois fight bid, saying, “He’s only trying to stray from me when he’s facing Tyson Fury.”
