In November 2015, the Stade de France was one of the targets of the terrorist attacks in Paris. Seven months later, the country is still very marked when the European Football Championship opens in this stadium.
This summer 2016, the France team can count on players like Dimitri Payet and Antoine Griezmann. Over the meetings, the team, coached by Didier Deschamps, gains in power and popularity.
The Blues arrive in the final, supported by 75,000 spectators, against Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo is injured and this incident welds the Portuguese team, until victory.
