The Gunners are finally on the verge of locking star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang into a new contract after lengthy negotiations.
Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports News he says Aubameyang is close to agreeing on a new deal, calling it a “when and not if” case.
It also suggests that an announcement is expected soon and that their captain and top scorer will commit his future to the club for another three years.

Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez shed some light on his disappointing spell at Bayern Munich and it turns out he was – literally – left out in the cold, which could also scuttle any move to London.
Since joining the Spanish giants in 2014, he has struggled to settle in the capital and spent two of those six years on loan at Bayern Munich. And while the attacking midfielder has been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks, it looks like England’s weather may hinder a move given Rodriguez’s recent comments on life in Monaco.
