SALT LAKE CITY – As NFL teams began preparing for the 2020 season, former BYU star and current New Orleans Saints quarterback / utility Taysom Hill braced for fatherhood.
Hill announced on social media on Saturday that his wife Emily had given birth to their first child, a son they named Beau Nixon Hill (Nixon is Emily’s maiden name).
Beau Hill arrived as planned, as his father posted a photo of himself on Instagram on August 10 assembling a cradle, and he said in the caption that the due date was two weeks away.
In April, Taysom Hill signed a two-year, $ 21 million contract extension with the Saints after proving to be an incredibly versatile player.
New Orleans is scheduled to open the 2020 season on September 13 at home against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
