For the 43rd rocket in the world rankings, the sieve of the tournament had played one of the best players in the qualifying competition in the first round, but when Dajan Jastremska, a Ukrainian who was seeded with the fourth number, left Sevastova in her place and was seeded with the ninth number.

The tournament will take place from 10 to 16 August in Prague on a clay surface.
