KOMPAS.com – Jorgen Lorenzo’s father, Chico Lorenzo, revealed the problems that accompanied the Repsol Honda team in the 2020 MotoGP.
Repsol Honda is a team that is favored to win the MotoGP event.
This cannot be separated from the contribution of the racer, Marc Marquez, who won successive world titles in 2016-2019.
However, this season’s Repsol Honda has suffered from problems because the mainstay racer was absent due to a fractured right arm injury.

Marquez had to miss four races, namely the Andalusian, Czech, Austrian, and Styria GPs.
Since the Czech MotoGP, Repsol Honda has been strengthened by Alex Marquez and Marc Marquez’s replacement racer, Stefan Bradl.
Honda will not be able to score the podium until MotoGP 2020 has completed four racing series.
Alex Marquez has finished outside the top 10 more frequently so far. Only once did he end the race in eighth place, namely during the Andalusian MotoGP.
Last week, Marc Marquez’s younger brother was only able to finish in 14th position. Meanwhile, Stefan Bradl is still pointless.
Chico Lorenzo thinks there is a crucial problem that has caused Honda’s achievements to drop sharply in MotoGP 2020.

He highlighted that the development of the Honda RC213V motorbike which was considered only made for Marc Marquez’s driving style was the cause.

“He doesn’t care that the bike is difficult to control, because with his strength and aggressiveness he can make the bike behave the way he wants,” he added.
Chico Lorenzo thinks Honda should design a racing motorbike that can be used by all its riders.
“Honda has a serious problem. They developed the bike only for Marquez and no other rider can go as fast as possible,” said Lorenzo.
“Not even his younger brother. Now he (Marquez) is injured, Honda can’t get good results.”
