Relive the sensational victory of Max Verstappen | Motorsport

Verstappen was the only one of the top-10 to start the fifth race of the season on the hard tire on Sunday afternoon. That choice ultimately turned out to be formidable. Valtteri Bottas secured pole position on Saturday afternoon, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton holds second position. Nico Hülkenberg, who replaces the positive corona-tested Sergio Pérez at Racing Point, surprisingly took third place in the starting line-up.

In the previous four races, Verstappen finished on the podium three times, but retired once. Last week, at the first of two GPs in England, he finished second. For the time being it gives him third place in the world championship standings, behind Hamilton and Bottas.
