Dwhether Waldhof Mannheim’s managing director Markus Kompp couldn’t go fast enough on his way up, some people already realized during the Corona break.
Waldhof was in second place in the third division before the restart, Kompp vehemently demanded an immediate end of the season and thus promotion. That would have paid off extremely financially not only for the club – but also for him personally.
Clause 4 of his 13-page contract lists what Kompp deserves under the point “Remuneration”.
