Four champions rest on the throne of high school women’s golf in Michigan.
And don’t expect them to give up their position without a fight.
The four reigning state champions – Northville, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern, Bloomfield Hills Marian, and Grand Rapids Northpointe – are all perched atop the latest state rankings offered by the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association.
Notably, Forest Hills Northern is the three-time defending Division 2 champion, looking to match 2009-12’s Muskegon Mona Shores as the only program to rattle off four consecutive titles. Northville is vying for a Division 1 hat-trick while Marian is looking to get back in Division 3 and Northpointe in Division 4.
