Raptors Score vs. Nets: Toronto loses 150 points over Brooklyn to complete the first round in franchise history

Reigning NBA champion Toronto Raptors is in the second round of the 2020 NBA playoffs. Sunday night they put together a dominant performance, reaching a 150–122 win over the Brooklyn Nets, completing a four-game streak of the first-round series of teams.

Toronto’s performance was as perfect as you can get in a playoff match. They set a point franchise record in a playoff game, shot 55.4% from the field and scored 100 points on the bench. The only drawback for the Raptors was Kyle Lowry’s injury. He rolled his ankle and left the arena to undergo the images. With Boston waiting in the second round, they hope it’s nothing major.

This is the end of the road for the Nets, which must be said they deserve credit for how they competed in Orlando. Most of these players were brought in at the last minute as substitutes, with no guarantee of a place on the roster next season. And even though they came out of the playoffs in the first round, they fought hard every game and, overall, they did better than everyone expected.
