French side Paris Saint-Germain is chasing the signature of a Malawi player to fill the void created by an injured champion.
Tabitha Chawinga is the main target of PSG, thanks to her impressive performance in the Chinese women’s soccer championship. The Paris-based club renewed interest in the flag carrier of Malawi, 8 months after the club allegedly pursued its services.
Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, Chawinga confirmed the news. He added that he has received offers from numerous European clubs.
“Offers keep coming. That’s quite a number of them, but I don’t want my attention to be distracted by this, “he said.
She-Flames is arguably the best player in the Chinese league. In the last football season, he claimed a hat-trick; player of the year, outstanding player of the season and winner of the Golden Boot.
It is also valued as Malawi’s gold calcium export. Before entering the Chinese side, he practiced his trade in Sweden.
