At a time when Brisbane Broncos star Tevita Pangai Jr. has been tattered by fans and disciplined by the NRL, the young striker has found an ally in Wendell Sailor.
Pangai Jr., who has been fined $ 30,000 and indefinitely resigned by the NRL after violating the COVID-19 protocols, is yet to be officially removed by the Broncos.
But Brisbane legend Sailor jumped to Pangai’s defense and even listed three teams that could use him if he left Brisbane.

“Look, I don’t think he did much wrong,” Sailor said on Triple M when asked which clubs should be chasing him. “Obviously he was having a few minor hiccups.
“I just think you have to get his aggression right on the field. If you can do this right … he will give you a lot.
“I think the Bulldogs are trying to build a new culture. He’s a perfect player to build a culture around.
“The sharks also need an X-factor like him. And the dragons too. The dragons need someone to replace Tyson Frizell.
“These three clubs could use Tevita Pangai at his best. He’s just a young striker so the best is yet to come. “
Sailor added, “We all did stupid things when we are older or younger. He’s got a huge fine now and he loves his footy and he hasn’t done anything illegal. “
