Since the Broncos cleaned up the biggest rubbish in the club’s history in Round 4, Seibold has stopped criticism from all angles. Some of the most brutal comments came from old Broncos guys.

“Of course they should,” said Seibold The Sydney Morning Herald when asked if the old boys should show more respect.

The Brisbane Broncos dynasty of legends didn’t miss out when they shot at Seibold earlier this season.
“The players are like Brown’s cows,” said Steve Renouf AAP in June.
“You have no idea what’s going on. You look lost. Something has to change and you might think that starts with the coach. “

“You can have any academic qualification in the world, but that can only get you so far. To this day, I’m confused and just don’t understand why they wouldn’t have appointed Kevvie Walters as their head coach. “

“Did I think it would be like that? No, I haven’t, ”said Seibold.
“But I didn’t know there would be so many agendas involved. Probably not. But that will be discussed at another time.

“A friend of mine owns a property in Central Queensland, so I’m going there with another friend from school and pretending to be a farmer out of town for a week,” he said on Wednesday.

“I’ll think about what’s next, but first and foremost, I’ll go away and put on a cowboy hat and be someone from central Queensland again.”
He’s cautious about future opportunities after such a tumultuous period with the Broncos but is confident he’ll get back on the horse.
“I am concerned because I received so much attention while I was with the Broncos,” he said.
“I am sure it will die now. I support my ability. It didn’t work here. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work anywhere else. “
