Despite losing the Champions League final, Neymar has confirmed he will stay at PSG and aim for another final with the aim of winning it. The Parisians finished the 2019/20 season with all three of their domestic trophies and reached their first Champions League final.
While Bayern Munich beat Paris Saint-Germain in the highlight, the match was far from over and over even as the Bavarians took the lead 1-0. But the guilt lost chances of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria and a few others have meant that Parisians have stumbled upon their latest hurdle and had to settle for a second place medal. But that could have a catastrophic effect for Parisians as reports indicated the club could lose some players this summer.
The likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Marco Verratti and a few others have all been linked to away matches, but the Brazilian confirmed that he has no intention of leaving. The 29-year-old admitted that he is looking to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for another season and that his goal is for them to reach and then win the Champions League final. She also added that this is her chance to put her name in the history books and is looking to get her.
“I’m staying at PSG next season. I’m staying and with an ambition to return to the Champions League final, this time to win it. I like this idea of going out of my way to leave my name in my club’s history books,” Neymar he said, Goal reported.
