Jorge Martin won Sunday the Moto2 race of the Austrian Grand Prix marked by a spectacular accident and consequently reduced. The Spaniard thus won his first victory in this category. He beat Luca Marini – the half-brother of Italian MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi – who suddenly took the lead in the world championship. Shortly after the first start, Enea Bastianini suffered a highside (loss of control of the rear of the bike) and crashed out of a corner. The Italian’s bike, which remained in the middle of the track, was then hit head-on by the Malaysian Hafyzh Syahrin.
