Socceroos youngster Daniel Arzani has signed a blockbuster move to Dutch FC Utrecht in order to resume his injury-related career.
Arzani is on the books with the Premier League heavyweights in Manchester City but has loaned Scottish giants Celtic for the last two seasons after leaving Melbourne City.
The 21-year-old’s development was severely hampered by an ACL injury in his first game for Celtic that ruled him out for over a year.
Even after becoming active again, he only made one appearance last season due to recurring injury problems.

Greek largely excluded, Socceroos iconic companies as the next Melbourne Victory Trainer
The talented winger – widely regarded as one of the most talented emerging stars in Australian football, with six international appearances for Socceroos, including appearances at the 2018 World Cup – has now sealed a season loan to the Netherlands.
“We have followed Daniel since his time in Melbourne City, where he made his first team debut at the age of 17,” Utrecht technical director Jordy Zuidam told the club’s website.
“It seemed unreachable for us for a long time, but we could finally reach this transfer period.
“I’m happy that he’s finally here at the Galgenwaard Stadium. We’re looking forward to seeing him in the FC Utrecht jersey.”
Utrecht’s league campaign begins on September 12th after finishing sixth last season.
