Man Utd will face Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men secured a spot in the quarterfinals by recording a 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen thanks to a confident Bruno Fernandes penalty that was scored in extra time.

We now know that the reward for that win is an exciting encounter with a Sevilla side that scored a slim but dominant 1-0 win over the wolves at Duisburg’s MSV Arena.

Wolves started the quarter-finals well by earning an early penalty, but striker Raul Jiminez saw his effort saved by the goalkeeper and the Spanish club controlled the game from then on.

Sevilla had 75% of possession and had 17 shots on goal, but the winning goal didn’t come until Lucas Ocampos went home in the 88th minute.

Elsewhere tonight, Shakhtar Donetsk clinched a comfortable 4-1 win over Basel to stage a semi-final against Inter Milan, which will take place on Monday night at the Dusseldorf Arena.
