Man Utd says the conviction has been “overturned” by the appeal process at the latest, and fiancée Fern pops the police “lies”.

HARRY Maguire’s conviction has been “overturned,” Manchester United said today.

Defense attorney 27 was found guilty of serious attack, resistance to arrest and attempted bribery following a clash with police on the Greek island of Mykonos.

The £ 85million English star received a retrial this afternoon. Man Utd insisted that his skipper has no conviction or criminal record and is innocent.

A Manchester United spokesman said: “An appeal against yesterday’s verdict was filed this morning by Harry’s legal team

“In accordance with the Greek judicial process, filing an appeal will erase the original court judgment and overturn the conviction.

“The appeal has been accepted and will result in a full retrial in a higher court.

“This means that Harry has no previous convictions and will be deemed innocent again until proven guilty.”
