The fact that MotoGP riders have to be a bit crazy has been proven once again today. During the Steiermark GP the brakes of the Yamaha of Maverick Vinales suddenly gave out. The Spaniard did not panic and jumped from his rig at 220 km / h. Punishment!
Vinales’s out-of-control bike exploded into the air cushion at the end of the straight. Vinales slid on the asphalt and, as a miracle, was not injured. The race was flagged and a restart followed.

GP victory for Oliveira after spectacular last lap
The victory in the Steiermark GP ultimately went to 25-year-old Portuguese Miguel Oliveira, his first victory in MotoGP.
At the Red Bull Ring, he fought a duel with Jack Miller and Pol Espargaro in the last round. Only in the very last corner did he go over the two to victory.
