Look Again Simoncelli Seconds Called ‘Keep’ Rossi in Austria

Jakarta

Valentino Rossi, who escaped death at the 2020 Austrian MotoGP, was again busy being discussed along with claims of the appearance of the late Marco Simoncelli, who was said to be guarding The Doctor.

The claim was made by Jakub Kornfeil, a MotoE rider who previously raced in the 125cc class in 2009-2011 and was in the Moto3 class in the 2012-2019 period.

When discussing the incident at the 2020 Austrian MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring on August 16, he was sure that Valentino Rossi was ‘guarded’ by metaphysical power through the presence of the late Marco Simoncelli on the track.

The incident of scratching Johann Zarco and Franco Morbidelli at that time made the second motorbike ‘float’ across the circuit. There are Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi who almost got hit by the motorbikes.

“There is something difficult to explain on the trajectory because it involves something in this world and the hereafter,” Jakub Kornfeil told his home media, Czech Republic, sport.tn.nova.cz.

“Because when Morbidelli’s motorbike floats in front of Valentino, Marco Simoncelli’s face can be seen in the forest in the background. I replay (the incident video) many times and it always amazes me,” he said.

Marco Simoncelli himself has passed away. The Italian man who is known to be close friends with Valentino Rossi breathed his last after the incident at the Sepang circuit in the 2011 Malaysian MotoGP.

Jakub Kornfeil gave this opinion because he claimed to have seen the appearance of Marco Simoncelli’s face when Valentino Rossi was almost hit by a ‘flying’ motorbike. To be precise, one hundredth of a second when Rossi was almost struck by Morbidelli’s motorbike.

Carlo Pernat, a well-known MotoGP observer, also had a chance to say something similar. His comments were reported by the Italian edition of GPOne.com on August 17, or the day after the Austrian MotoGP incident.

“Marco Simoncelli took care of Rossi by avoiding the motorbike (Franco) Morbidelli. Simoncelli kept the motorbike away from Rossi,” said Carlo Pernat.

The official MotoGP account on YouTube documents the incident through several angles. What Jakub Kornfeil refers to about Valentino Rossi himself is around the 2:00 minute in this video:
