Liverpool stars get back to work at pre-season training camp

Liverpool’s players started their preseason at a training camp in the Austrian mountains just seven weeks after being crowned Premier League champions.

The Reds ended their three decades waiting period for a championship title in record form after an enormously extended season.

But they have had little time to celebrate their success after finishing their season with a win just over three weeks ago in Newcastle.

Jürgen Klopp’s team has traveled to Salzburg to prepare for the new season, which starts on September 12th.

The list of games has not yet been released, but Liverpool will be the scalp everyone will want to claim when they start a Premier League campaign titled “Champions” for the first time.

Virgil van Dijk will be decisive again

In the past decade, only Manchester City have retained their crown, which underscores the scale of the task ahead.

But Klopp has already spoken about how he and his team will proceed in the coming season.

“We’re not going to defend the title next season, we’re going to attack the next,” he said.

“I learned that if you think you have peaked, you are already on your way down.

“The city will be strong next season, [Manchester] United will be strong next season, Chelsea will be strong. ”

Will Liverpool keep the Premier League? Let me know below

The Reds got stuck with their roster rather than twisted last summer as very few new faces arrived at Anfield.

Liverpool have managed to keep all of their star players and could strengthen themselves in the coming weeks with Bayern Munich’s Thiago as a goal.

The midfielder wants to leave the German giants and they are ready to approve his exit if their rating is met.

A new center-back could also arrive at Anfield after Dejan Lovren’s departure. Brighton’s Ben White are linked after an impressive loan game at Leeds.

Greek defender Kostas Tsimikas is the only summer arrival after his £ 11.75million from Olympiacos
