Las Vegas Raiders Training Camp Week One Winners and Losers

The pads have come for the Raiders and it finally feels like the football is here. While we are still only at a few practices, there have been a few clear winners and losers in the practice. Let’s take a look at the players who stood out, for better or for worse, during the Raiders’ practice.

One of the biggest winners of all training camps to date has to be wide receiver Bryan Edwards. After missing the entire pre-draft process with a foot injury, Edwards impressed the coaching staff and teammates with his physique and ball skills.

Edwards dominated Tuesday’s padded practice, completing several contested takes according to reporters in attendance. To be a rookie he’s incredibly polite and his size and body control make him an easy target for his quarterback.

While Edwards may not be ready for a starting position by Week 1, you can expect him to be a big part of the team’s offense going forward.
