Juventus are willing to leave Douglas Costa for just £ 18m this summer, with Manchester United considering a move for the winger.

The Brazilian is not in the plans of the new Juve boss Andrea Pirlo and, together with Sami Khedira, is available for transfer.

Manchester United have long been linked to a move for the former Bayern Munich man and this may finally be the time for them to secure his signature.

Italian publication TuttoSport reports that Juventus are only looking for € 20 million for the 29-year-old as Pirlo tries to reshape his team after the firing of Maurizio Sarri.

The Serie A champions paid double that amount for Costa in 2018 after spending a season on loan at the club, but he hasn’t made much of an impact since he signed on.

The Brazilian international played 47 games in all competitions during the loan period, scoring six goals, but made only 25 and 29 appearances respectively in the following two seasons.

He has struggled with injuries and lack of form, scoring only four goals in the past two seasons.

Manchester United are still focusing on Jadon Sancho as their main transfer target, but are exploring other avenues as a deal for the Borussia Dortmund star proves difficult to complete.

There have been contacts between the Red Devils and Costa reps, while also looking to Bournemouth star David Brooks.

The Cherries are looking for around £ 40m for Brooks, while Sancho is expected to cost around £ 100m, so while Costa turns 30 in September, it would definitely be the cheapest option.
