The home team took the lead in the second minute, but Mārtiņš Dzierkals equalized the result in the 18th minute.

In the eighth and ninth minute of the second period, the home team scored two goals, to which Miķelis Rēdlihs responded with an accurate broadcast in the 13th minute. However, in the next minute the home team restored the two-goal lead again – 4: 2.

Lauris Dārziņš regained one goal in the 18th minute of the period until the break, but the Rigans equalized in the 15th minute, when Kristaps Sotnieks’ shot was accurate.

No goal was scored in the extra time and the teams took post-match throws.

The home team threw the puck into the “dynamic” goal in the first and fourth attempts, while the Rigans failed to trick the puck into the opponents’ goal in any of the four attempts in front of a limited number of fans in the stands. Zeks Michels, Miks Indrašis, Dzierkals and Dārziņš did not surpass the home goalkeeper.

On Tuesday, Rigans will face a match with the third strongest club of the same league in Joensuu “Kiekko-Pojat”, on August 27 with the Latvian goalkeeper KHL club Helsinki “Jokerit”, and on August 28 – with the ninth strongest unit of the Finnish second league last season in Vantaa “Kiekko- Vantaa “.
