If Sancho goes to Man United, Solskjaer becomes the most beloved coach of management all

KOMPAS.com – Manchester United continue the hunt for Borussia Dortmund’s striker, Jadon Sancho. If successful, this transfer will further strengthen the management of the Red Devils to the great Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United is optimistic it will complete the transfer of Jadon Sancho.

“Every agreement will definitely find a way,” said coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sealsa (5/8/2020) before the Europa League match against LASK Linz.

Borussia Dortmund set the official price of 120 million euros or 2.2 trillion rupiah if the Red Devils want the services of the 20-year-old player.

However, Sky Sports claims Man United’s offer will never reach that number given the difficult financial conditions of European clubs amid the corona virus pandemic.

On the other hand, Man United’s offer will further strengthen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as post-Sir Alex Ferguson coach with the most financial support.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been training United men since December 19, 2018, initially as a coach caretaker to replace Jose Mourinho.

The Norwegian coach has trained the Red Devils for about 1 year and 18 days.

He also passed three transfer windows during this time period in which the Red Devils spent funds to buy four players.

The four players are Aaron Wan-Bissaka (49 million pounds from Crystal Palace), Harry Maguire (80 million pounds from Leicester), Daniel James (15 million pounds from Leeds), and Bruno Fernandes (50 million pounds from Sporting CP).

All transfer figures are taken from the site Transfermarkt.

Solskjaer also recruited Odion Ighalo, although the player was only borrowed from the Chinese Super League camp, Shanghai Shenhua.

According to the same website, the average number of transfers per Ole Gunnar Solskjaer player at Man United stands at 48.1 million pounds.

This figure far exceeds his colleagues who coached the Red Devils after Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

David Moyes only had time to buy two players in his post which did not last a season.

The players are Marouane Felaini and Juan Mata, on average fee per player at 35.7 million pounds.

Move to Louis van Gaal who came to replace Moyes permanently in the summer of 2014.

During the two years in charge of the Red Devils, Van Gaal recruited nine players.

Some of them are Angel Di Maria, Anthony Martial, and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Although the purchase of Martial and Di Maria drained up to 100 million pounds, the average fee per player that Van Gaal bought was at 27.6 million pounds.

The amount is still far smaller than Moyes thanks to a number of purchases under 20 million pounds such as Matteo Darmian, Basti Scheinsteiger, and Daley Blind.

Jose Mourinho then came on for Van Gaal at the start of the 2016 season.

Mourinho is not playing games, he bought 10 players for two and a half years mastered the Red Devils.

Mou recruited Paul Pogba at a fantastic price of 95 million pounds and spent 76 million to buy Romelu Lukaku.

On average, Mourinho’s transfer spending per player is 41.2 million pounds.

The amount is still far greater than Van Gaal and Moyes, but it does not exceed the spending figure per Solskjaer player.

In fact, the number of Norwegian coaches will be more difficult to pursue if Jadon Sancho transfers a goal.

If Man United and Dortmund agree on a 100 million pound transfer figure, Ole’s spending on new players will be 292 million pounds.

That is, the average price fee each player issued by the coach will stand at a fantastic figure of 58.4 million pounds.
