Dieng (11-18-97) is the youngest of eight children, who lived on the outskirts of Dakar, in Leona Thiaroye, a Senegalese fishing village where he kicked the ball for the first time between the nooks and crannies allowed by the boats moored in its port. One day he stowed away on a boat bound for Tenerife. From there to Bilbao through the intermediation of his mother’s friend to later settle in a reception center in the San Antonio de Amorebieta neighborhood. José Félix Gallastegi, then sports director of the Blues, recruited him for the SD Amorebieta Youth when he was alerted by the innate conditions of the boy. Ibrahima was promoted quickly to his Second B team, where Eibar settled for its subsidiary, CD Vitoria. After his stopover in Haro, he continues his career in the heart of Europe, the dream of any Senegalese boy with the desire to succeed as a soccer player.
