The Pirates will play ten home games on Sunday from 1 p.m. “Given that we would like to use players from league competitions for alternating starts, we chose Sunday for home matches,” says spokesman Libor Kult.
“We are aware that this is not a completely standard Chomutov time, but we chose it also with regard to the fact that we know from previous seasons that many Chomutov fans also attend matches in Litvínov. And in eight of our ten home dates, Litvínov also plays at home, ”he explains.
The team around Petr Martínek will play a total of twenty duels with five opponents in the basic part. These are HC Slovan Louny, HC Tygři Klášterec nad Ohří, HC Roudnice nad Labem, SK Kadaň and HC Lovosice. The Chomutov season starts on Sunday, September 20.
The mentioned long-term part, which will start after mid-September and end at the beginning of February, is followed by the playoffs. The first will challenge the fourth and the second the third, the winner of the subsequent final and thus the winner of the group of the Ústí Region will advance to the qualification.
