He accelerated a little, his teammate did not help him. Salač starts from the seventh row

In qualifying, he accelerated slightly compared to training, but it was not enough for the Moto3 elite. The only Czech participant in the Brno Grand Prix, Filip Salač, reached the twentieth time on Saturday afternoon, which puts him in the seventh row of the starting grid for Sunday’s fourth race of the World Road Motorcycle Championship, which is also broadcast by the free Nova Action channel.

Salač looked very annoyed, because according to information from Nova TV, he did not have an agreement with his teammate Arbolin that they would pull each other to a very fast lap. It was supposed to get both to at least the edge of a dozen. The 18-year-old did the job for the Italian and made him a windy slipstream, so Arbolino set his dream time, but then turned into the pits.

The Czech rider of the Rivacold Snipers stable remained alone on the track, had no one to catch and did not reach the required acceleration. “Unfortunately, a strategic mistake,” admitted Salač, who was twentieth in the final qualification. On the other hand, the eighth Arbolino will stand in the third row, with the championship leader Arenas standing next to him.

Salač was upset after the end of training, when the jury took away his best time for violating the ban on overtaking when hoisting the yellow flag, thus preventing him from proceeding directly to the final part of the qualification. For the first time in his career, another Spaniard, Fernandez, took pole position in the weakest class. The company will be made in the first place by the Argentine Rodrigu and the Japanese Suzuki, who even in the fourth qualification this year got into the elite three.
