The big man of the Blazers started feeling pain in his left hip during Thursday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
Portland manager Terry Stotts provided an update on Whiteside after training on Friday:
“He started noticing it at the start of the game last night. I talked to him today, he really didn’t notice before the game but … last night at the beginning of his minutes he started to annoy him. “
Whiteside has averaged 5.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 15.8 minutes per game for the Blazers since they resumed playing in the Orlando bubble.
