Grace wins Chelsea City Council 3rd place race – Shelby County Reporter

CHELSEA – Incumbent Chris Grace of Chelsea City Council Place 3 was elected for a full term in the position in the city’s only contested race on Tuesday 25 August.

Grace gained 367 votes (about 66%) for defeating challenger Chris Thomas, who got 190 votes (about 34%), according to the unofficial election results.

Grace will continue to serve with incumbent Mayor Tony Picklesimer and City Council members Cody Sumners (seat 1), Scott Weygand (seat 2), Tiffany Bittner (seat 4) and Casey Morris (seat 5), whose seats do not had been disputed.

Grace has served on the city council since she was appointed to complete David Ingram’s term in March 2019.
