Formula 1: The last guide to Asturias by Fernando Alonso in the helmet to wear in his next competition

Fernando Alonso does not forget Asturias or when he is going at maximum speed. The pilot has shown on his social networks the design of his new helmet, with which he will run the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, August 23, in which he nods to the Principality.

As can be seen in an image that Alonso shared yesterday on his Instagram account, the back of the helmet has two reminders of the pilot’s origin: the Cruz de la Victoria and the name of its karting school, located in La Morgal (Llanera).

Alonso’s nods to the “tierrina” have been frequent throughout his career. Few have been the outfits worn by the double Formula 1 world champion in which he has not combined the blue and yellow colors of the Asturian flag or a Victory Cross.

Alonso is currently in the United States after spending several days off in the Principality. During all that period he was training hard at the facilities of his Llanera circuit.
